Established in 1999, Rig Tool Products has served the Drilling and Well Servicing needs of the oil and gas industry.
Headquartered in Fort Worth, TX, Rig Tool Products has seen increased growth in business to both domestic and international marketplaces under the direction of owners Dayle Williams and Jim Armstrong. Having both been in the industry for 30+ years, they have combined their knowledge and expertise to not only make Rig Tool Products a reliable and trusted company, they’ve also grown the company beyond initial expectations.
Raw Materials
The manufacturing process starts with quality pre-shaped raw material from Pennsylvania, USA mills. The use close tolerance and cold drawn extruded bar stock provides the base for consistency, quality and durability. Rig Tool Products’ large inventory of raw materials allows us to meet the demand of the industry as it arises.
Machining
With machining facilities located in Fort Worth, TX, Houston, TX and Oklahoma City, OK, Rig Tool Products is able to manufacture many different product lines concurrently. We incorporate many technologies such as Computerized Numeric Control machines for precision parts manufacturing. With the necessary machinery and engineering experience, Rig Tool Products has the ability to manufacture custom dies and inserts for many applications in the oil and gas industry.
Heat Treating
The last step of the process is hardening the products to exact specifications for each application. Located in Fort Worth, TX, our state of the art heat-treating facility upholds the standards set forth by the military and aerospace industries. Meeting and exceeding the criteria demands of both the American Metallurgical Society (AMS) and the Metal Treating Institute (MTI), our case depth hardening process provides a durable, long lasting part that ensures performance and exceptional quality.
